2014 Man Booker Prize Winner Revealed

We are always delighted when clients return to us year after year, especially when it is an award as prestigious as the Man Booker Prize. It is one of our favourite awards of the year and seems to be treasured by the few who are lucky enough to receive it.

The iconic award was designed by London based graphic designer David Caines and is a three-dimensional interpretation of the logo. It is manufactured from a single piece of cast black acrylic with a glossy finish.

Australian author Richard Flanagan was the recipient of the 2014 prize for his novel The Narrow Road To The Deep North, inspired by his father's experience as a prisoner of war on the Thailand-Burma death railway.

The award (along with a £50,000 cheque) was presented by The Duchess of Cornwall at London’s Guildhall on the 14th October. You can view a video of the speech on the BBC News website.

We have a team of expert designers on hand to create awards to suit your budget, but we are also happy to quote on any designs you may have already had produced. Get in touch with our expert sales team to talk through your options.
