We are delighted to announce that Adam Hutchinson, founder of Gaudio has been shortlisted by Event Magazine as one of the most influential people in the events industry. Adam started the company 6 years ago selling corporate gifts and awards imported from Spain. He quickly recognised the opportunity to design and manufacture awards and gifts to clients specifications to create something unique.
The Guardian Newspaper's ninth annual Public Services Awards took place on Tuesday 20th November at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Whitehall, London. Not only did shortlisted applicants have the chance to take home a Gaudio designed award, they also became part of the Guardian's Public Leaders Network, encouraging an exchange of best practice ideas to promote innovation across Whitehall, local government and the NHS.

Theo Walcott has been selected by the fans as the EA Sports player of the month for October after picking up 31.4% of the vote. Although the England international only made one start last month, his hat-trick against Reading in the Capital One Cup made a lasting impression on the supporters. Theo sparked the famous comeback from 4-0 down and scored the winning goal in injury time to secure a 6-5 win.

The inaugural Information is Beautiful Awards took place on Friday to celebrate the greatest in data visualization and information design. Entries included a map showing the value of body parts, a graphic illustrating what plot details make a great novel and a map of popular U.S. surnames! On the 25th of September The Lancaster London hosted the 2nd HSJ Efficiency award to 800 healthcare professionals. This capped off a very busy couple of months in production cutting, polishing, engraving, printing and assembling the awards.

An emotional Kylie Minogue last night picked up her Gaudio designed O2 Silver Clef Award for 25 years of service to the music industry. Speaking after receiving her award, Kylie said "I never would have thought 25 years ago I could have got an award like this and I think that's why I was so emotional up there. It's really hard to comprehend and how to express my gratitude."

The Sahara Force India team picked up its first trophy of the year last weekend for the fastest pit stop at the Malaysia grand prix. The bespoke trophy was commissioned by Sky Sports for the new F1 channel. The design is based around the profile of the guns used by the pit team to remove the wheels, and is manufactured from polished aluminium.
60-year-old retired landlord from Leicestershire, Robert Baguley, was declared winner of this years UKIPT PokerStars tournament, picking up the Gaudio designed trophy and £210,400 in the process!

5000 runners took part in the National Lottery Olympic Park Run at the weekend, and became the first people to cross the Olympic finish line. The runners included members of the public, celebrities and royalty! Princess Beatrice started the runners and took part in the 5 mile run, before awarding the winners with their Gaudio designed Olympic Trophies.

The 2012 Vinspired Awards took place on Thursday (22nd March) to celebrate the UK's most inspiration volunteers. The volunteers were treated to performances from Tinchy Stryder and Stooshe before being awarded with the unique "V" Awards.
After 120 gruelling minutes Ajax and Internazionale Milano could not be separated in the NextGen series final held at Leyton Orient on Saturday. 2,500 fans watched as the game progressed to penalties and Inter managed to beat firm favourites Ajax.

Last night (21st March) saw the return of the Lighting Design Awards for the 10th year at the prestigious London Hilton. The ceremony recognises the country's leading lighting designers, manufacturers and architects. Comedian Rob Deering hosted the event with over 700 people gathered in the audience.
The Specialists Awards 2012 took place on Tuesday 20th March at the London Hilton, celebrating the achievements of the UK's leading specialist contractors in the construction industry. The awards are one of the construction industry's most notable annual events, recognising and rewarding the best specialist contractors in the business. Winners on the night included Cantillon, Bourne Construction Engineering and Crofton Design.

Last night saw the return of the Oracle Retail Week Awards, the biggest night in the retail calendar. The event highlights some of the great achievements in the industry throughout the last year, despite tough the tough economic climate.
Over a thousand of the country's top leaders in local authorities attended the LGC Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Wednesday. This was the biggest event in its 16 year history, and Gaudio were very proud to be once again supplying the bespoke awards.
A whole host of celebrities (and their mums!) arrived at the Waldorf Hilton in London on Sunday (12th March) to celebrate the 2012 Tesco Mum of the Year Awards.

The award was presented at the Glasgow Science Centre on Wednesday 27th February. Commenting on his achievement, Jeff said, “It’s a great honour to be named Chef of the Year by a panel of judges who are experts on the food industry in Scotland. I take great pride in my role as Executive Chef at The Balmoral – from developing menus and innovative dishes to training new chefs and championing seasonal Scottish produce - it means a great deal to be recognised by my peers for this.”
William Hill approached Gaudio for some sporting trophies with a difference for the Scottish FA Cup Player of the Round Awards. We came up with high quality profiled aluminium awards mounted on to a tiered aluminium base that reflects the motto of the Scottish Football Association – Passion, Pride, Spirit.

The prestigious Business Insider & Bank of Scotland SME 300 Awards took place earlier this month at the Glasgow Science Centre, hosted by the BBC's Louise Minchin. The Awards celebrate the success of Scotland's best performing small to medium sized companies with turnover between £8m and £20m. Now in their fourth year, and with a new sponsor, the awards were given a fresh new look by Gaudio.
Pineapple Dance Studios star, Louie Spence, has recreated Tom Cruise’s classic scene from ‘Risky Business’ – but with a Sport Relief Twist. The Dancing on Ice judge has been snapped pulling the pose whilst wearing the new, official, Sport Relief Socks in a bid to launch Sainsbury’s Sock Sliding Championship this week.

The Oscars, Brit Awards, Pride of Britain, Grammy's and Bafta's are all famous examples of sculptured trophies. These awards are typically very traditional and classic in design, although more contemporary designs are possible.
