Unsung Heroes Honoured at Great Scot Awards


The Scottish Sunday Mail have once again searched the length and breadth of the country to find the unsung heroes and community champions of Scotland as part of the 21st annual Great Scot awards. The prestigious awards ceremony, attended by over 500 guests took place on Saturday 10th September at the Glasgow City Centre Hilton.

HSJ Efficiency Awards Rewards Outstanding Healthcare Organisations


The inaugural Health Service Journal Efficiency Awards last week identified and rewarded the outstanding healthcare organisations who have successfully demonstrated tangible efficiency improvements and cost savings this year - while maintaining the highest standard of patient care.

BigJigs wins 2011 Independent Toy Awards


Toy Shop UK, the online toy directory, has announced the results of it's 2011 Independent Toy Awards. Over 800 independent retailers on the directory were asked to vote for their favourites in 15 categories and winners were revealed on Friday. Wooden toy manufacturer BigJigs received the first ever Toy Shop UK Award for Most Popular Supplier.

Rising Stars Awards Showcase Bright New Talent


Comedian Russell Kane has had a busy week, hosting the Supply Chain Awards and the Rising Stars event! Star of Dragon's Den, Theo Paphitis, opened the show with an entertaining speech, praising all the rising stars in retail and commended the retail sector as a whole for dealing with the trading conditions over the last year. Russell Kane then took over proceedings to entertain the 500 strong crowd of rising stars, with celebrations lasting until the early hours.

Retail Week Supply Chain Awards


Over 400 of the UK's top retailers and their supply chain partners celebrated at the first Retail Week Supply Chain Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel last week. Gaudio were approached to create a distinctive bespoke award for this new event to give prestige to this high profile ceremony. The unique design is made up of layers of highly polished aluminium and translucent blue Perpex, which gives a stunning effect under the bright podium lights.
